UNISON Return to Learn course  in the Bristol Area. 

This course is FULLY funded by UNISON (including travel expenses/residential weekend costs) and is open exclusively to UNISON members. It is aimed at those who may have been away from learning for a long time or just feel they would like to do something new. The course developes confidence to try new things, this is very important in todays constantly changing workplaces.

The course is run in a friendly and encouraging environment with the support of tutors who are experienced in working with adults. As well as gaining new skills and knowledge you will grow in confidence. On completion of the course you will receive a letter stating the level you have achived and certificates from UNISON and the Workers Education Association (WEA).

Information Session

 At the information session you will meet the course tutor, other UNISON members interested in attending and find out more about the course. You will be able to ask any questions you may have. The information session will help you to decide whether or not the course could be for you.

The course comprises of an information session, 12 study groups and a residential weekend (venue to be confirmed) all expenses are covered by UNISON. The dates are:

Information Session:

 UNISON,  First Floor,  Vintry House, Wine Street, Bristol BS1 2BD

 Monday 23 May 6.30pm to 8pm

Please meet at the front of the building, you will be met by a member of staff as the office is closed for usual business at this time.  

 Study Groups:

 UNISON, First Floor,  Vintry House, Wine Street, Bristol, BS1 2BD

Mondays 6:30pm – 9:00pm on the following dates:

6 & 20 June 4 & 17 July

1 August

5 & 19 September 3,17 & 31 October 7 & 21 November

On site parking is avaible, please indicate if you require parking for the information session on the enquiry form or your email.  

Residential Weekend:

 25 & 26 Junefrom 9:00am Saturday until 2:00pm Sunday
