Call for Bristol Pride Day Volunteers

Bristol Pride Day is a celebration of LGBT+ culture, equality, diversity and inclusion.  The event has been voted the UK’s number Two ‘Best Pride’ and is the largest free Pride in the UK. This year’s Bristol Pride Day falls on Saturday 9 July and for the first time will be held at the Bristol Amphitheatre and atBristol’s Millennium Square.
Further details can be found at http://bristolpride.co.uk/day/.

Last year saw UNISON Bristol Branch volunteers marshalling the parade as well as manning an information stall. The event offers an opportunity to promote awareness of the union to a cross section of the community. It gives us a the chance to speak about the fantastic work we do on a range of subjects, not least supporting LGBT+ rights both nationally and internationally.

Should you be interested in being a volunteer on the day please email marius.jennings@bristol.gov.uk by Thursday 7 July 2016
