Bristol City Council has commissioned the Healthy Living Consortium to offer FREE NHS Health Checks – ‘midlife MOTs’ – in workplaces and community organisations across the city, for those aged 40-74.

This national screening programme aims to identify those at risk of developing cardiovascular disease and empowers people to make positive lifestyle changes to reduce their risk of heart attack, stroke and Type 2 Diabetes.
This is particularly important for picking up the hidden risk factors such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol which become more common with age.

For the workforce, this could mean fewer days lost to sickness, so there are financial gains for organisations too.
Our team of trained staff would be available to come on site to deliver the 30-minute health checks to eligible employees, times to suit.
